Mistakes Hindi speakers make — and how to fix them

✗ Wrong: I is a student.
✓ Correct: I am a student.
'I' always takes 'am', not 'is' — मैं एक छात्र हूँ।
✗ Wrong: He go to school daily.
✓ Correct: He goes to school daily.
He/She/It takes 'goes' (with s) in simple present — वह रोज़ स्कूल जाता है।
✗ Wrong: I don't have no money.
✓ Correct: I don't have any money.
Double negative is wrong in English — मेरे पास कोई पैसा नहीं है।
✗ Wrong: She is more better than me.
